How did the heel go? I hope everyone loved the new (to us, at least) heel pattern! We all enjoyed the new technique. From this point, you’re almost done! Just the foot and the toe to go. I always think the foot knitting part of socks is great knitting for TV watching or podcast listening. It’s just knit, knit, knit! And the toe isn’t much more difficult. Just some decreases and then the kitchener stitch. Don’t worry! There’s a great video in your pattern to walk you through this stitch.
And then? Weave in your ends and put on your sock! Woo hoo!! Way to go for finishing your first (or 100th) sock! Time to get started on its mate.
Have you enjoyed our SockAlong? We sure hope so! It’s always fun to have lots of people working on the same project. Every finished object is so different and lovely!
One last thing–bring in (at least) one of your finished sock(s) any time in January and get entered into a drawing for a great sock prize!
Happy Knitting and Happy New Year!
