Week of October 22, 2017 – New Patterns!
I am so excited to share with you three new quilts that I have been working on these past few weeks. This first one is called 
“Bejeweled” and it features the 12-Step Dark Color Wheel Fat Quarter Bundle from Cherrywood Fabrics (available at Wooden Spools). The pattern is available now and the quilt (43” x 39”) is hanging in Wooden Spools. I love the wonderful rainbow of fall colors that it represents.
The second one is called “Around the Corner” and I made it with mostly leftovers from the Bejeweled quilt. It measures 25.5” x 25.5” and is made up with only three blocks: the 9-patch, a plain square and a rail block. It goes together very quickly. As soon as I finish quilting it, you will see it hanging in the shop as well.
The last quilt I have been working on is called “Square By Square” and measures 37” x 37”. As soon as it is quilted it
will also be hanging in Wooden Spools and the pattern will be available. This one is made from a Cherrywood’s ” Melon Patch” 8-Step Gradation bundle of Fat Quarters. I love the way the colors play with each other and create a softer fall palette.
It would appear that I have recently been drawn to geometric squares, rectangles and triangles. They seem to be what comes to mind when I am designing with the wonderful Cherrywood Fabrics. I hope you might enjoy them as well.
