Can you believe it is December? This year has flown by for us. And I hope you have had a good year of knitting and crocheting some cute projects to keep and to gift. It has been so much fun to see everyone’s projects (both finished and in the works). This is the last one-skein project for the year. Let's wrap things up with something easy and fun and quick: Snowflakes!

 

The yarn we have chosen this month is Berroco’s Vintage Baby Handpaints. This is a 50g ball of soft DK yarn made from acrylic, wool, and nylon. Check out the cute colors HERE. The knit pattern is called “Holiday Frost Snowflakes: by Bobbi Intveld. This is a free pattern on Ravelry.com.  The pattern includes three different designs, each one cuter than the last. It was hard to stop! I made one of each for you to see. Come check them out!

 

The crochet pattern is called is called “Snowflake” by Anna Tykholaz. This pattern is also a free pattern on Ravelry.com. They are FAST!  Amy whipped up five in an evening. Yarn snowflakes might be the only kind of snowflakes that Amy likes, and she really liked these!

 

These snowflakes can be starched & blocked, or not. It is up to you!
